A fun trend that I've been noticing lately is the potting of small succulents, flowers, and houseplants into whimsical cups and mugs. What a fun way to add greenery into a small space that a traditional potted plant might not fit into.
These would make great additions to a bathroom counter, on a bookshelf, a dresser top or nightstand. A collection of herbs in various cups lined up on a kitchen windowsill would add charm to any country, farmhouse, or cottage decor.
(And would also be a great way to keep that sweet little plant away from mischievous furry friends like this sweet boy...)
Here are a few images to inspire you...
And what a fun gift this would be to give!
Thrift and antique stores would be wonderful sources for old tea cups and mugs. Where might you tuck one of these fun little potted plants and what plant would you use?
I'd love to hear!
